Did you know?

Did you know you're amazing?
Whenever I see you, my hear begins pulsating?
I will forever continue updating and upgrading myself
Until the day that I will be attaining your acclaiming
But it is so frustrating that I remain unchanging
So I am left awaiting the day
That I become unfailing at changing for you
And my unveiling will lead to our love making
Then I will be sunbathing in my love for you...

Brother

I’ve done everything for you
I’ve kept your every secret
Listened to your every story
And yet despite everything I do for you
All I feel is regret,
Regret for ever helping your growing glory
The growing glory that fills your ego
The ego that keeps me wondering,
Wondering, whatever happened to us?
Let us not forget,
We used to hug every day
Bathe in the nude
Fall, Lay, Skip, Play like the gaily kids we were
And most of all we fought
But despite that constant fighting we still stuck together
Together forever.
And now? Now I’m left alone
Questioning what happened to us?
I’m left bleeding and bruised
While you stand over me
Telling me how useless I am, how you want to kill me
I used to dread the day you would leave home
And now I fear every day I have to come home. Come home to you
That very fear ripples through my every nerve
Fear that I will say a wrong word, a wrong phrase
And fear that, that wrong word and wrong phrase
Will bring you anger.
And me? Well I fear that, that anger will bring me pain
Pain that will never leave me.
Pain that keeps me questioning, what happened to us?
But despite all of this pain and questioning,
I still do everything for you
I still keep your every secret and listen to your every story
I continue to forgive you because I love you
I continue to love you because you are my brother

18th Birthday

Most important weekend of my life” she says
But what does that really mean?
Well she is really just a drama queen
She calls me selfish and disrespectful
When really she is just being neglectful
Of the feeling I keep inside
Of the feeling I wish to hide
I’ve told her before
The reason why my feet drag on the floor
And yet she remains vain
Even when she understands my pain
She thinks of every possible way
To make me feel terrible for missing her 18th birthday

Blogging

I don't enjoy blogging
I don't like expressing my feelings
It becomes depressing for people reading
I much prefer running, swimming, playing
And just plain living
But not blogging...
Oh how I dislike blogging
My writing is personal, sometimes demeaning
I don't like showing what I'm repressing
From the world that is beaming
Full of life and meaning
I don't need people knowing
I don't want them seeing
The repression of my depression

Meggy

Meggy and Me :)
She’s black with a hint of grey in her hair, she’s short and small but a little fat and she loves to eat. Her nails need a trim, she could use a bath… and a toothbrush. She’s always smiling yet is still grumpy and she’s always running around and is still the laziest girl I have ever met. She’s always by my side and she is always there when I need a hug. The thought of loosing her makes my heart bleed. When I get home and hear those clicking nails running towards me and see that wagging tail, I can’t help but smile and hug that big fur ball. She is my best friend, my sister and the best dog I’ve ever met. She is my Meggypuppykins and even though she is old, lazy, grumpy and is a little chunky, I wouldn’t trade her for the world!

White

The colour white… depending on your way of thinking, it can be interpreted in many different ways. It’s plain, bland, boring, blank, common, and neutral and maybe it’s not a color at all, but a shade. However, if you have a more positive way of thinking, you’ll see white as; pure, divine, light, the truth, and even colourful. Regardless of how you see white, it will always be around you, your whole life. You see it during winter as beautiful, frozen, crystallized flakes of snow. You see it on the blank pages you write your stories on. It’s everywhere you look. I suggest that you take a minute, stand still, look around you and see how many white things you can find. You might just be amazed at what you will find.

Super Nan

Someone who had a major influence in my life is my great grandmother. Everyone always called her Super Nan. She taught me so many things and she was the champ at any card game. She always knew how to make me feel warm inside and simle . I remember going over to the nursing home with my nana to make Super Nan some amazing chocolate chip cookies. After eating them we played a game of crib. She won of course. Then we went out for a walk. It wa warm with a light breeze and the sun was hanging high in the sky. My Super Nan told me many things I'll never forget on that walk. When it was time to go home I kissed  Super Nan goodbye and left with a big smile on my face. It was one of the best days of my life. That night Super Nan passed away... I'll never forget her. I was around the age of twelve when she died but my memory of Super Nan will never fade. And whenever I play a game of cards I always think of that magnificent woman, Super Nan.
